The York Association has been established to maintain the bonds of friendship, camaraderie and support between the broader “York” community and her current serving members.   This community includes, in fact, the serving ship’s company as well as anyone who is a “friend” of York, which may include former members, retired members, and others who take a supportive and positive interest in HMCS YORK and the Royal Canadian Navy.   The Association promotes interest in the RCN and York and allows its members to stay in closer touch with the unit and its serving members.
